Goodies!

It is so fun to work up new material!  It is a challenge to bring out the best polish I can get.  Many times it takes a trial and error approach.  That is what is happening with the Nazca Jasper.  I am hoping I can get it to pop even though it seems to be a lot like Indian Paint Rock.... it does not take a high gloss finish.

Alan has been finishing up coring what will end up being about 2.5" spheres.  I am super excited to see how the Wingate Pass jasper works up.  We pulled out the remaining stash of this material In December.  Also included is more Purple Lace Agate, Emerald in matrix, Tiger eye and China Hollow Picture jasper.

This morning I hand ground what will be about 3.6" Purple lace, Tiger Eye and Wave Dolomite.  Already did a jade, Cryptic passion and Lion's Skin.  This are moving along as long as I keep the pipe line fed.

Looking forward to getting the firecracker obsidian in to the drill.  The colors are crazy.  To see the first cut click here or copy and paste:  https://www.facebook.com/reel/1489141704966760
